We believe that the school holidays is a time for experiential learning evoking the senses and our holiday programs have been designed with this intent in mind. We have developed our craft workshops to not only teach the students crafting skills but also some life values to hold to in a fun and engaging manner.
Rubber Stamp carving is a craft which requires planning, focus and lots of patience, to hand carve a design from a regular rubber block. The students learn how they can create their hand carved pieces in specially designed our 2-hour workshops. They learn that making something beautiful takes effort, detailing and patience in this class as they work on their pieces in a safe manner.
It is very rewarding for us at the end of each session to see their satisfied faces as they admire and examine that hand carved pieces.
